To solve surrounding noise issues from busy highway and a railway station, bold straight lines were used for the exhibition space. The space distribution is based on optimum user-friendly pedestrian and vehicular access direction, sound barrier and spatial dynamism to achieve exceptional user experience.
Being enveloped by the highway on the north and the train station on the south side, the site faced a tremendous noise and vibration problem.
The main objective and challange of this project was to design a calm and peaceful exhibition space in the close proximity of a rail station and a major highway in Dhaka Cantonment Area.
